Best Shop in Roatan for Tech. May 2025
Dan, the owner, is positioning his shop as a top tier tech shop in Roatan. If you are a tech diver, this is where you want to go, especially if you are a rebreather diver. Dan is building a shop built for divers and designed by divers, and he is taking all the things he has seen other shops do wrong and making sure he does them 1000% right.

For the recreational side, you will not find a better instructor than Ted. Ted is an amazingly patient instructor that worked my family member through their AOW. He knows 100% what he is doing, and you will have an excellent time diving with him.

Sea Hunt Divers is a great dive shop located in West End. 
The owner Dan is very knowledgeable and putting together a great facility for recreational and technical divers. 
Ted, the dive master, is exceptional. He is knowledgeable about the reef and the many things you will see while diving, great at showing you things along the dive. Ted is also an instructor who can teach you any course/certification you are wanting to add to your dive experience. 
If you want personal attention and smaller dive groups compared to some of the other shop, then this is the place for you.

Sea Hunt Divers is a new and upcoming dive shop located in West End.
Dan (owner) is very knowledgeable and is in the process of creating a great facility for recreational and technical divers.
Ted (dive master extordinar) is terrific. His knowledge about the reef and has the ability to find in the wild the many critters you will see while diving, He also can provide terrific course/certification you are wanting to add to your dive experience. He certified two of my grandsons on this trip and has them so excited they are asking to return soon.
If you want personal attention and smaller dive groups compared to some of the other shop, then this is the place for you.
For you older folks I'm sure that Mike Hunt would approve of this facility and crew.

My wife and I did 4 dives with Ted and the dive shop. It was a great experience all around. It had been some time since my wife dove, so she was a bit nervous to get back in the water. It's a smaller shop so the ratio worked in her favor. Day one was with four other divers, day two it was just her and I with the divemaster. Ted was great at finding the little creatures that most people swim right over. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone looking for a quality dive experience. A more one on one experience.
