A peaceful fish to watch, but don't get to close, as you may cause them to "puff" their bodies for protection.
In the Spring of 1994, Edward "Ted" Anger completed his Open Water Diver course in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and was hooked on diving from day one.
25 years and +/- 6,000 dives later, he holds the rating
of PADI Master Instructor and EFR Instructor Trainer. After attending a local seminar on sea turtles in 2015, he has written his own PADI approved course, Turtle Educated Diver (TED) to help with the conservation of the endangered species.
This Cyphoma gibbosum is not a nudibranch. It's shell is usually covered by the beautiful, but toxic, spotted mantle.
Can be spotted swimming within the coral reef, continuously making circular patterns or laps, with no place to go.
This beautiful little guy can usually be found slithering within the coral reef and blending in to avoid detection from predators.
Never been SCUBA diving before? No worries! Ted is thrilled to share his passion with new divers starting at the age of 10. Join him on a guided dive and have him point out all the small stuff! He is an expert at showing you the many amazing creatures the reef has to offer. He's taken families and chartered groups on exclusive dive trips around the Caribbean, as well as certifying newlywed couples in SCUBA after arriving for their honeymoon.
Contact Ted today so you can plan your next open water adventure, it will surely be like none other. Your safety and satisfaction are his top priority!
